Aroha Fitness exists because many people are told to “just try harder” when their bodies change — through menopause, ageing, injury or life itself.
But bodies aren’t failing. They’re adapting. And training needs to adapt too.

I work primarily with midlife women navigating perimenopause and menopause, as well as older adults of all genders who want to stay strong, mobile and confident as they age.
Many of my clients feel frustrated because what used to work no longer does — or they’re unsure how to move safely anymore. My role is to provide clear, supportive guidance that meets you where you are.

At Aroha Fitness, strength is not about punishment or aesthetics.
It’s about:

Programmes are evidence-based, individualised and designed to feel supportive — not overwhelming.
I’m a qualified personal trainer with experience supporting people through menopause, hormonal change and later-life training. I continue to learn and adapt my approach as research evolves, because bodies — and good coaching — are not static.
